Framing Options

All our shutters come within a framework.  The shutters are hinged to the framework and the framework is fixed either to the window frame, the window recess or on to a framework sub-frame.  There are a variety of framing options to choose from – choice is dependent upon the material you have your shutters constructed in.

The most popular frames are the Insert L and the Bullnose Deep Z.  Both frames have insert strips that are removable - this allows the fixings for the framework to be hidden behind the insert strip.
