Full Height Layout
These are full height, single panels. A strengthening divider rail is required when the overall height of the panel exceeds 1100mm. This allows the slats in the top and bottom sections to move independently of each other, thus giving privacy and light control through both the top and bottom halves of the window. |
Tier on Tier Layout
Tier on Tier shutters give you maximum control over both light and privacy within your room. These shutters cover the entire window with the top and bottom sections opening independently of each other. This is the most flexible layout – folding the top panels back gives you the benefits of a Café Style layout and keeping them closed gives you the benefit of a Full Height layout.
This option is not available in our Craftwood range of shutters. |
Café Style Layout
Café Style shutters cover the bottom part of the window only. The panels can be specified to any height, but it’s usual practice to ‘tie-in’ with the window’s middle bar (if there is one). This layout gives privacy and light control through the bottom of the window and allows unrestricted light through the top. |
